Mixed Experience on a Special Occasion

We enjoyed a lovely view from our room, and the breakfast buffet was delightful. However, the noisy environment affected our relaxation. A tip for future guests, request a quieter room if you want a peaceful stay.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making my solo visit comfortable despite unconventional hours. The room was spacious and equipped with a mini fridge, adding convenience to my stay. On the downside, the bathroom showed signs of wear and the pool was unexpectedly closed without prior notice. however, the river view during breakfast was a delightful perk.

The standard double room was clean and well-appointed making our stay comfortable. There were excellent opportunities for relaxing walks by the river and the gym featured high-quality Technogym equipment.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, and a coffee machine. Loved the bathroom with a walk-in shower and free toiletries. The indoor swimming pool was relaxing, and the spa had great body treatments. Nice to relax by the river and enjoy the scenic views.

Cleanliness was a significant issue. our room had a foul smell and was not up to par, with blocked sinks and a missing TV remote. Breakfast left much to be desired. the selection was limited and the service felt chaotic with items running out. There were issues with room allocations, as I was given a different room type than what I booked, which was frustrating. Multiple guests shared experiences of noise disturbance from nearby rooms, likely due to insufficient soundproofing. Lastly, the limited options for dietary restrictions at breakfast were disappointing, especially with specific needs.

Had a pleasant stay with spectacular river views and a lovely terrace for evening drinks. The gin and tonic was refreshing, and room service breakfast was on point. Would stay here again!

During our stay, we were blown away by the attention we received from the restaurant staff—especially Ryan and Savannah. Their personal touches made each meal memorable. The room offered great value, but do keep in mind that it could benefit from some minor updates. Definitely worth a visit!

Comfortable room, convenient amenities, with a lovely gym and pool that were immaculate during my stay and easy access to transportation options like the nearby Reading Rail Station providing quick links to central London.
